摘要：文化自觉是原创型教育家的本质特征,他们在价值观自觉、人性和国民性自觉、思维方式自觉等方面达到了新境界。原创型教育家具有广阔的文化视野,从历史演进中体察"数千年未有之变局",从异质、异域文化的比较中生成文化自觉,对于教育与社会进步、国家前途、人类命运以及与"新人"的关系进行综合性思考,思考的核心问题是培养什么样的人——有文化自觉的现代中国人。他们立足于解决中国教育问题,并用中国形式、中国话语系统来表达。他们共同的文化成长路径和规律是:学有本源,取法乎上,系统掌握了学术文化的高水准;从中西关系、天人关系的时空坐标中,思考中国现代教育的构建问题、现代中国人的培养问题;学思结合、知行合一,有着清晰的问题指向、强烈的行动意识和以天下教育为己任的担当情怀。原创型教育家既是自我努力和个人修养的结果,也是历史的产物。从中国历史的大时段来看,原创型教育家多产生于文化灿烂的时代,尤其是文化的碰撞、融合、转型时代。Cultural consciousness is the essential characteristic of original educators, who have reached a new level in the aspects of value consciousness, humanity and national personality consciousness, and thinking mode consciousness, etc. Original educators have broad cultural vision and can observe the great changing situation which has never existed over the past thousands of years from the historical evolution, and they can generate the cultural consciousness from the comparison of heterogeneous cultures and the foreign cultures. They can think comprehensively about the relationship between education and social progress, the nation’s future, human destiny, as well as the "new people", and the core issue of their thinking is to cultivate what kind of people-the modern Chinese people with cultural consciousness. They focus on solving the problems of Chinese education and express these problems in Chinese forms and Chinese discourse system. Their common cultural growth paths and rules are as follows: They learn from their local cultural origins and set high aims, and master the high level of academic culture systematically;they think about the problems about the construction of China’s modern education and about the cultivation of modern Chinese people from the space-time coordinates of the relationship between China and the west as well as the relationship between heaven and man;they not only combine learning and thinking but also unite knowledge and action, and they also have the clear orientation to the problems, strong awareness of action and the sentiment of taking the world education as their responsibility. The original educators are not only the results of self-effort and personal cultivation, but also the product of history. From the perspective of the long period of Chinese history, the original educators have appeared in the era with splendid cultures, especially the era with cultural collision, fusion and transformation.
